  1. Cold Pressed: Retains maximum nutrients and antioxidants.

  2. High Polyphenol Content (>400 mg/kg): Essential for antioxidant activity and anti-inflammatory action.

  3. Low Acidity (<0.3%): Indicator of freshness and quality of the olive oil.

  4. Low Peroxide Value (<9 meq/kg): Confirms that the oil is not oxidized and therefore remains fresh.

  5. UV Protective Packaging: Protects against light damage, preserving quality for longer.

  6. Recent Harvest: Fresh olive oil contains more flavor and nutrients.

Which Casa Gomez olive oils meet these requirements?

We have compared our olive oils with these strict requirements. Here is a handy overview of which olive oils meet these requirements:

All our olive oils are cold-pressed, rich in polyphenols, have a low acidity and peroxide value, and are packaged in UV-protective bottles. The Oro de Genave has the lowest antioxidant content in our range, but still has an impressive 450 to 550 mg/kg polyphenol content.

Most of our olive oils are currently unavailable as they are either yet to be bottled or harvested. What we do have in stock has been recently bottled and carefully stored in oxygen-free conditions to ensure quality.
