About Cuac

The childhood of the creators of CUAC was spent among olive trees, sunshine and the mountains of the Sierras de Cazorla. A spring on top of the highest mountain in the area, the Yelmo, filled the lake where ducks lived with water. This is where the inspiration for the name of their farm and their Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from: CUAC.

CUAC AOVE reflects childhood memories and the passion for an age-old craft. The rubber duck, a symbol of childhood nostalgia, returns in the form of CUAC Extra Virgin Olive Oil: a unique oil with a personal story.

Where does Cuac come from? The olive groves in the mountains: the treasure of Sierra de Cazorla

The olive groves in the mountainous areas of the Sierra de Cazorla are more labor-intensive to cultivate and harvest and yield less than those of large estates. On the other hand, the compact fruits yield an extra virgin olive oil that is among the most highly regarded in the world in tastings.

The Cuac olive trees, which are over 50 years old, are located in the heart of the Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas National Park, located in the province of Jaén.

This province has the highest concentration of olive groves in the world and is renowned for the exceptional quality of its olive oil.

What makes this olive oil of such special quality?

Cuac is produced under the strict quality controls of the DO Sierra de Cazorla, one of the most prestigious regions in the world for olive oil production.

Cuac production combines night harvesting and processing in less than 8 hours with a first pressing. This gives Cuac extra virgin olive oils unique organoleptic and antioxidant properties, making the innovative appearance of the packaging fade into the background and the quality prevail
