This premium organic and non-organic olive oil is made from olives picked early in the harvest season, when they are still young and green. As a result, these olive oils contain a much higher antioxidant content than regular extra virgin olive oil. Because the olives are still unripe, twice as many olives are used for this olive oil, resulting in a mild, grassy flavor—ideal for cold dishes like salads, as a dip for bread, or as a tasty and healthy gift.
While you can also use this olive oil for cooking, we recommend choosing our Oro de Genave for higher-temperature preparations. This way, you'll optimally utilize the unique flavor and valuable properties of our early-harvest olive oil for cold preparations.
