Casa Gomez imports olive oil directly from the olive oil cooperative and small-scale producers where olive oil is harvested and pressed. This way we keep the distribution lines short and we know for sure that we purchase high-quality olive oil that has not been tampered with.

The largest supplier is Olivar de Segura where my family brings their own harvested olives to be pressed. My father had his own olive trees there until the summer of 2023, but then decided to sell them to my family who still live there. Other family members work in agriculture but also in maintenance in the pressing plants, so that the highest quality olive oil can be pressed.

Olive oil delivery via Casa Gomez

Delivering and/or sending olive oil via Casa Gomez can be done in various ways. Because most olive oil comes in glass bottles, I want to do everything I can to ensure that the olive oil arrives intact and take the necessary precautions. In addition, I am also happy to personally deliver olive oil near Hilversum to avoid shipping costs.

  • Glass bottles are sent in Post NL bottle mail packaging, so that the box can withstand a blow during shipping.
  • Any unfilled space is filled with Flow packaging material, which is made from starch. This keeps the bottle firmly and protected in the shipping box and allows you to dispose of the packaging material sustainably. Because it is starch-based, you can rinse it away in the sink and it will dissolve on its own.
  • Señorios de Relleu bottles are made of aluminum, making them safe to ship and durable.
  • The 5 liter cans of Señorios de Segura and Oro de Genave can withstand a blow and can be shipped safely.
  • All shipments are sent insured, so that if something happens along the way, it can easily be delivered afterwards.

Our early harvest extra virgin olive oil is perfect for

This premium organic and non-organic olive oil is made from olives picked early in the harvest season, when they are still young and green. As a result, these olive oils contain a much higher level of antioxidants than regular extra virgin olive oil. Because the olives are still unripe, twice as many olives are used for this olive oil, resulting in a mild, grassy flavour – ideal for cold dishes such as salads, as a dip for bread, or as a tasty and healthy gift.
