Casa Gomez imports olive oil directly from olive oil cooperatives and small-scale producers where it is harvested, pressed, and bottled. This way, we keep distribution lines short and ensure we purchase high-quality extra virgin olive oil.

Our largest supplier is Olivar de Segura, where our family brings their own olives for pressing and is part of the cooperative. Until the summer of 2023, my father had his own olive trees there, but then decided to sell them to my family, who still live there. Other family members work in agriculture and also in maintenance at the presses, ensuring the highest quality olive oil can be pressed.

Olive oil can be delivered and/or shipped through Casa Gomez in several ways. Because most olive oil is in glass bottles, I want to do everything I can to ensure it arrives intact, and I take the necessary precautions to ensure this.

• Glass bottles are shipped in bottle post packaging from Post NL, so that the box can withstand some impact during shipping.
• Any unfilled space is filled with Flow packaging material, which is made from starch. This keeps the bottle securely and protected in the shipping box, and allows you to dispose of the packaging sustainably. Because it's starch-based, you can flush it down the sink; it dissolves naturally.
• Señorios de Relleu bottles are made of aluminum, making them safe to ship and resistant to impact.
• The 5 liter cans of Señorios de Segura and Oro de Genave can definitely withstand a knock or two and can be shipped safely.
• All shipments are shipped insured, so if anything happens during transit, it can easily be redelivered without additional costs.
